For over three decades, Impulse Hair Designs has been a cornerstone of downtown Providence's beauty scene. Tucked inside The Arcade — America's oldest indoor shopping mall, an 1828 Greek Revival landmark on the National Register of Historic Places — our salon is as storied as the building that houses it.
We started with a simple belief: everyone deserves to feel confident and cared for. That belief has shaped every cut, every color, every manicure we've delivered. Our team brings both technical mastery and genuine warmth to every appointment.

The Arcade at 65 Weybosset St is one of America's most beloved landmarks. Built in 1828, this Greek Revival masterpiece was the nation's first indoor shopping mall. Today it blends historic architecture with a vibrant community of local businesses — and Impulse has been part of that community for decades.
Find us on the ground floor. Parking is available nearby throughout downtown Providence, and we're a short walk from multiple bus routes and the Providence Place Mall.
